Resetting the iPhone never hurts...
If you're on a Mac, launch Image Capture utility from your Applications folder and see if you can use it to import the videos that way. Then double-click on them and/or use QuickTime to convert them, but they might just play fine, too.

If your backup is to iTunes, make sure it's encrypted.

Oct 2, 2016 3:33 PM in response to Ryszby luvtotumbl,The videos were taken on my iPhone 6s (iOS 10) in the standard camera app. In downloading the videos to my computer, the videos did not transfer since the format could not be found. I have reset my phone, but that did not fix anything.
