Deleted Text

I was trying to delete text messages off my iPhone when it deleted the wrong ones. Instead of deleting the texts I had marked it deleted all the unmarked ones. And I had a lot of texts from my kids that I wanted to keep. I know I can restore my iPhone back to the previous backup but I do not want to lose the new information I have on my phone, it has been a while since I have backed it up. What should I do?
