Q: iMessages Incorrectly Labels Contractions As Misspelled

I recently just purchased an iPad Pro and have been using the Smart Keyboard to type on iMessages.  Something that I noticed is that whenever I type out a contraction (couldn't, wouldn't, ain't, etc.) with the apostrophe iMessages tells me that it is spelled incorrectly, even though it isn't.  However, if I try to type the contraction without the apostrophe it auto-corrects it appropriately to the correct spelling.  In other words iMessages cannot interpret any contraction as being spelled correctly if I use the apostrophe.

I was also able to duplicate this across all devices including iPhone.  To me this is an unacceptable flaw from Apple and it seems like something that can be easily fixed - Steve Jobs would probably be rolling in his grave if he saw this.  Chances are if you're typing on an iPhone you don't notice it since most people don't take the time to select the "123" to switch to the numbers/symbols keyboard, however I find this quite annoying if you're someone who uses the a Smart Keyboard to type in iMessages and actually type the contraction out correctly, but it marks it as misspelled!  Has anyone else noticed this?
