Chinese letters are appearing duringtypin给。Please help。
English is primary language.

DO you have any Chinese input sources on the list in system preferences/keyboard/input source ?

That solved my issue, Tom. Thank you so much for helping with the issue. Are there certain key combinations you can hit to activate that? Not sure how that happened.
IT is easy to switch keyboards accidentally via cmd plus space, control plus space, or in sierra sometimes with capslock.
