whatsapp backup folder name

I don't use iCloud backups.

I have just bought a new iphone 7 and resored my iphone 6 backup and lost my whatsapp chat history!

Is it possible to locate the folder in the iphone 6 backup in library...MobileSync and copy that to my latest iphone 7 backup folder and restore that iphone 7 backup to my phone 7 thereby getting the whatsapp chats back?
