I installed iOS 10 and every 5-15 seconds I'm asked to verify my apple id password

I recently update my iPhone 5 to iOS 10.0.2, after the update I was asked to verify my Apple ID password (I don't know my apple id password, and security questions and have no way of resetting either of them) I clicked Not Now and the notification disappeared, about 5-10 seconds later I got another popup asking me to verify my apple id password. This has been an ongoing thing ever since the release of iOS 10, I have tried many things (such as rebooting my phone) and still no luck. It is getting very annoying, interrupting me whenever I turn on my phone. Any ideas?

Note: I do not have any backups on my phone since I don't know my iCloud/iTunes password.

Hello there, cptjones!

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities! It sounds like you are needing to reset your Apple ID password and security questions. That is a great question! The good news is you can check out this article If you forgot the answers to your Apple ID security questions . If you have tried those steps, it would be best to contact Apple directly over the phone for security reasons. You can go to Contact Apple Support and set up a phone call either in the country you are located, or a country near you.

Cheers!
