Why did my itunes suddenly stop saving changes?

I've been using iTunes for a while now, and as of today it will not let me save changes made to my albums. I don't go through the iTunes Store for my music, all of my music is purchased on CD then imported/ripped to iTunes so that I may play it on my iPod. I've done these changes for a while now, adding art work or simplifying the Artist or Album Artist so that its easy to find and play together. But as of today it will not save. I'm checked all of my settings and even restarted the program and computer. Nothing. I'm running the most recent version of iTunes on Windows 10.
