Oct 4, 2016 7:02 AM in response to ktdchby chris_g1,Hello ktdch,
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
I see you are trying to removed a device from your iTunes, but the button is dimmed. Take a look at the following article regarding removing devices from iTunes: View and remove your associated devices in iTunes
The section from that article the applies most directly for you is this:Remove your associated devices
On the Manage Devices page, click Remove to the right of the device that you want to remove. Depending on when you associated your device with your Apple ID, you might need to wait up to 90 days to associate the device with another Apple ID.
If you can't click Remove (the button is dimmed), the device that you're trying to remove has connected to your Apple ID within the past 30 days. Sign out of the iTunes Store on that device, then try again to remove it.
Best regards. -
Oct 4, 2016 7:23 AM in response to chris_g1by ktdch,Thanks! The problem is that I dont have the devices any longer. I erased all contents and settings and then I returned them to ATT. I dont know how to remove them without having them.

Oct 5, 2016 4:33 AM in response to ktdchby jeffd55,Hi ktdch,
How long has it been since you have returned those devices? How long since you used them to connect to your Apple ID? According to that article, if the device has connected to your Apple ID within the last 30 days, the Remove button will be dimmed. You may need to wait that time to remove it or you can contact iTunes Support for their assistance.
