Q: Viewing all recipients all the time

The new Mail does not show all recipients of an incoming email. Instead, it will show a recipient or two, then say "and 3 others." The reader then has to click Details to see the other recipients.

I do not like that. I want to see all recipients all the time. Is there any way to make that happen?

    Hi there, jjg225!

Thanks for reaching out to the  Apple Support Communities! That is a great question about viewing all mail recipients in the Mail app. This is expected behavior with Mail, but the good news is you can resize the Mail windows to be able to see more and potentially all recipients. Check out this article with steps for macOS Sierra: Manage windows on the desktop. Specifically:

    Resize and minimize windows

    • Manually resize a window: Drag the window’s edge (top, bottom, or sides). Or double-click an edge to expand that side of the window.

    • Maximize a window: Press and hold the Option key while you click the green maximize button  in the top-left corner of an app window. To return to the previous window size, Option-click the button again.

You can also double-click an app’s title bar to maximize the window (as long as the option to do so is set to “zoom” in Dock system preferences).

    • Minimize a window: Click the yellow minimize button  in the top-left corner of the window, or press Command-M.

You can set an option in Dock preferences to have a window minimize when you double-click its title bar.

Some windows can’t be moved or resized.

    Have a great day!
