Q: Sorry I'm having problem with the connection. Please try in a moment (iPhone 6,iOS 10)

Hello all,

im using iPhone 6 and installed iOS 10 very recently. When I'm trying to ask something to sirI the following is the output every time whenever I ask "SORRY IM HAVING WITH THE CONNECTION PLEASE TRY AFTER A MOMENT". I notice there's no problem with mic too because I've used voice memos it responds well.

I'm very sure that there's no problem with the internet connection. And I see Siri is well communicating with my iPad mini (iOS 9.3.5)

Hence here I couldn't able to get whats wrong with Siri on my iPhone 6. Please sort me out guys.

Thank you.

iPhone 6, iOS 10.0.2

    Hey amarmahenderkar,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. I can see from your post that you're having issues with Siri recognizing your voice when speaking. You've done a great job testing the microphone with voice memos and confirming it works on your iPad as well. We have a few steps you can try with the following link that may help get it working again.

Use Siri on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

    Get help with Siri

    • If "Hey Siri" isn't working, make sure that "Hey Siri" is turned on under Settings > General > Siri.
    • Siri might say, "Sorry, I'm having trouble connecting to the network," or "Try again in a little while." This is probably a network issue. Check your Internet connection and try again later.
    • When you're using Siri to dictate, dictation is limited to about 30 seconds.

If Siri isn't available, or doesn't understand or respond to questions

Before you try these steps, make sure that your device works with Siri. After each step, see if Siri is working.

    1. Make sure that your iOS device has an Internet connection through Wi-Fi or cellular data.
    2. On your iOS device, make sure that Siri is turned on under Settings > General > Siri.
    3. Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
    4. On your iOS device, go to Settings > General > Siri and turn off Siri. Then turn it on again.
    5. If you're using an iOS device, try to use Siri with a headset. If Siri only works when you're using a headset, get help with the microphones on your device.
    6. Contact Apple Support.

If Siri doesn't make a sound when you hold down the Home button

On your iPad or iPod touch, Siri will chime when it's time to ask a question. If you have an iPhone with iOS 9 or later, Siri will vibrate instead. You'll only hear the chime on your iPhone with iOS 9 or later when you're using headphones.

Siri will also chime when you use "Hey Siri" on a device with iOS 9 and later.

Let us know if these steps work for you.

    Cheers.
