Q: Safewallet vs macOS Sierra

Hello all,

I had the mac version of safewallet since 2012. It worked fine until I upgraded my os x to Sierra. Suddenly the sky was falling down. Safewallet didn't support the latest macOS Sierra. I even found it had been already removed from the app store. The development status of the app was discontinued on the wikipedia. The terrible story of its security concern was posted here years ago.

I was wondering if there would be any way to get the data out of the app within Sierra? Otherwise I would have to reinstall the previous os to gain the access first.

Had the same issue on my iMac but fortunately hadn't yet updated my MacBook.  Opened Safewallet on the MacBook and save the contents to text (as opposed to xml).  Now have all the information but unsecure.

Apple PELEEEZE provide a password/serial number protection app which will be supported by yourselves.  You are aware that everyone has multiple passwords and other important data to remember and keep secure (bank accounts, credit cards, passport numbers, SW serial numbers to name but a few).  This is the 2nd time I have been left high and dry by a developer going out of business.
