Can't Hear

HAve an iPhone 6s Plus, running iOS 10.0.2. Am having trouble hearing callers, sound muted, however when I place caller on speaker phone, all is fine. All other phone functions seem to be working fine. All apps are closed, Bluetooth is off, nothing in jacks, and have restarted phone. Any suggestions to correct this problem?
