iPhone Software Update Notification

I take call, and I need to be able to be contacted on my phone 24 hours a day every 4 weeks. The daily badgering of notifications has resulted in selecting update by accident when I am in the middle of something important and touch my screen at the wrong time. Please create a simple way to turn the badgering notifications for a software update off. One notification, and then a 1 at the corner of the settings icon is sufficient. The daily notifications are annoying, and unnecessary. This is one of those "last straw" issues in a long line of annoying issues that has me ready to pull the trigger on a galaxy. Please fix this

This is issue is beyond annoying, it actually can be quite dangerous in certain scenarios. I use my phone as a provider in the hospital to access EHR and these notification pop up all the time. I agree with Tanner, this might be my last iPhone if Apple doesn't change this behavior. There are many legitimate reasons one would not want to update the iOS on their phone for every single upgrade. Looking online this seems to be a very wide spread complaint and the only work around for it is to delete the update and disable your wifi or configure your network to en mass block access to update server (neither of which are practical). This is the sort of behavior that would infuriate me when trying to use Microsoft devices in the past and I have been very disappointed to see Apple follow suit. Many of the innovations coming out of Apple still excite me, but they are getting so far away from the easy flexibility design paradigm that I find myself more and more frustrated with where things are headed.
