Iphone asks for old apple id password

Hi,

Have recently change my apple id from official account to personal account. It keeps on asking password for old apple id password in settings.

I tried temporarily changing my apple id to old one but couldn't due to office email domain being changed and not accessible.

I would really appreciate if someone can suggest a way out of this constant pop up.

Make sure you log out of your old AppleID on both iCloud the the iTunes and App store.

It is asking for the old AppleID probably because you have some digital content (apps, music) etc that was purchased with the old ID. Apps and digital content are forever tied to that ID. You will get the prompt again if you try to update these apps in the future.
