Oct 2, 2016 8:40 PM in response to smokesJSPby gail from maine,Try resetting your device then see if you can do the update: Hold down the Home and Power buttons at the same time and continue to hold them down until the Apple appears (up to 30 seconds). Once the reset is complete the Lock screen will display. See if you can then do the update.
You also may not have enough available memory to do the update OTA, so you should try updating via iTunes if you cannot get it to work OTA.

Update your device using iTunes- Install the latest version of iTunes on your computer.
- Connect your device to your computer.
- Open iTunes and select your device.
- Click Summary, then click Check for Update.
- Click Download and Update.
- If asked, enter your passcode.
