Is my iPad modern

I have a ipad 2 and got it in 2011 and it has finished the updating, should I get a modern ipad?

Many iPad 2 users are perfectly satisfied with their device, and upgrading is unnecessary for them.
A "modern" iPad would have a brighter, more detailed screen. There would be a modest bump in processing speed. Popular features like multitasking are only possible with more recent iPads (v5 or newer).
You might consider visiting Apple and trying out their devices, and asking a few questions.
