Oct 14, 2016 2:49 PM in response to mendelamsby ampdt,I also have problems with the trackpad (Macbook Pro 2015). Called Apple support this morning, did a safe reboot, then reset parameters, which seemed to work for some time, but the problem is back now. The trackpad lost about 25% of its functions. For example, Mail won't open messages by clicking on them, double-clicking on words won't highlight them, and sometimes I cannot select the folder where I want to save a file. Obviously a Sierra update issue and it occurs intermittently within any application.
