Q: phone locked error when uploading photos

I have an old MacBook Pro still on the Mac OS X 10.6.8 operating system which I can not update. When I plug in my iphone SE I receive an error message on my laptop that my phone is locked so my photos can't upload. I have turned off all my lock settings on my phone restarted it and plugged back into my laptop and still receive same error message. When my iphone asks to trust new device I selected trust and still they will not connect to upload photos. I need to upload a video into iMovie to edit and place into a powerpoint presentation. Please help! My project is due in a few days.

Your issue is possibly due to iTunes being outdated.

In the meantime, connect your iPhone to your Mac via USB cable, then launch the Image Capture utility from your Applications folder. Image Capture will allow you to import files directly to your desktop.
