Q: Facebook Live only works in Portrait orientation.

My iPod Touch 6th Gen and my iPhone 6 are both on iOS 10.0.2 (14A456), both have the latest version of the Facebook App and both are signed in to the same account. I have tried the 'Live' function on both, and on my iPod it won't rotate to landscape mode. The app functions correctly otherwise. Other apps in the phone function with orientation correctly (calculator, camera, third party apps) and the Orientation Lock is disabled.
I can't find anything on the Facebook forums and they are generally unhelpful, trying to blame my device.
I have reset the device back to factory, set it up as a new device and then freshly installed Facebook. I logged in, then tried to go Live and it still has the same problem.
To test this further, I started up my iPod Touch 5th Gen (factory restored) and installed the Facebook App on there. It's running iOS 8.1.2. Again, installed the app and again, it doesn't rotate to different orientations.
I am hoping that someone can tell me why this option has been limited, if it's a bug or not, and if others are having a similar experience.

Maybe if this gains enough attention, Facebook or Apple will fix this limitation.

From your description it sure appears that there is a problem with the app, not the ipod. Especially since you restored to to factory settings/new iPod.

SOmetimes there are differences between how an app works on different devices
