Q: LAGGING PHONE APP.. IN IPHONE 6S

I USE BOTH IPHONE 6S AND 6S+.

AFTER UPDATING LATEST IOS10, I FIND THAT THERE IS A LAG OF 10-20 SECONDS FOR USING THE PHONE APP. IN IPHONE 6S... THE IPHONE PHONE APP IS OPENING IMMEDIATELY BUT CANNOT ACCESS OR SCROLL

"RECENTS" "FAVORITES" "CONTACTS" "KEYPAD"...........IT LAGS MORE THAN 10-20 SECONDS.

CAN APPLE FIX THIS PROBLEM...OR IF ANY ONE ELSE HAS FIXED IT . KINDLY SHARE YOUR SOLUTION.

THANKING YOU,

iPhone 6s, iOS 10.0.2

    Hi DRKK123,

Thanks for contributing to the Apple Support Communities. I see that you are experiencing some lag while using the Phone app on your iPhone 6s. This certainly doesn't sound ideal; I'd be glad to help out.

If you haven't already, try restarting your iPhone before testing again to see if the issue persists. Take a look at the following resource for more information:

Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

If the problem persists, I'd recommend that you reinstall iOS as a next step. As a precautionary measure, please create a backup of your data. Take a look at this website for more information on how to back up:
How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

Once your backup is complete, follow the steps here to reinstall iOS:

If your device turns on but gets stuck during start up

You might see the Apple logo or a red or blue screen for a long time during startup. Try these steps:

    1. Connect your device to a computer and open iTunes. If you don't have a computer, you can borrow one, or go to an Apple Retail Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider for help.
    2. While your device is connected, force it to restart.

      • On an iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Volume Down buttons at the same time.
      •
      • On an iPhone 6s and earlier, iPad, or iPod touch: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time.
    3. Don't release when you see the Apple logo. Keep holding until you see the recovery mode screen.
    4. When you get the option to restore or update, choose Update. iTunes will try to reinstall iOS without erasing your data.

iTunes will download the software for your device. If it takes more than 15 minutes, your device will exit recovery mode and you'll need to repeat steps 2 and 3.

Please note that although the title of the above article differs from your issue, this will still allow you to reinstall the most recent version of iOS on your iPhone.

    Take care!
