Usb tethering in macOS sierra

I recently updated my MacBook pro to macOS sierra. But however it seems that you cannot do usb tethering in this version using an android phone. So if you know how to enable usb tethering then please help me out.

I had the same problem after upgrading to sierra but reinstalling HoRNDIS http://joshuawise.com/horndis, sudo kextload /Library/Extensions/HoRNDIS.kext and turning off USB debug on my phone finally brought USB tethering back.

You may already know this, but Android has their own Mac connection tool. It's free and can be downloaded here:

It's just as clumsy in Sierra as it has been in all previous versions of the Mac OS. You've got the software installed, the phone is connected with a USB cable, but it keeps repeating that an Android phone was not found, or it did find the find and tells you to unlock the screen, even when it's already unlocked.

Click Okay about a dozen times and it will eventually work.
