Q: iOS 10 & Apps Updating Help!

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone can help me. I have iOS 10 on my iPhone 6S and I have noticed that some of my apps are automatically updating by themselves. As far as I can tell, I have turned off all of the automatic updates so I don’t understand why it’s doing this. I updated Facebook on Friday and this morning it was one way and then a few hours later it looked completely different so I don’t understand what’s happening or why it might happen? Help please!

iPhone 6s, iOS 10.0.2

    Greetings Rockandglitter,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

I see that iPhone apps are automatically updating by themselves even though you have disabled automatic updates. I definitely don't want your apps to automatically update if you don't want them to.

I would suggest signing out and signing back into the iTunes and App Stores, and then give your iPhone a fresh restart: Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch Please note that if you have an Apple Music subscription, all music saved for offline listening will be removed when you sign out of iTunes and App Stores.

Also, I would suggest testing on Wi-Fi and Cellular data to see if you get the same result and the apps start to download automatically.

Please let us know what happens.

    Have a great day!
