Tried many times, along with many restarts, to turn on Home Sharing, etc. using our .mac account. Refuses password every time. Password works fine on laptop and all other technology. Worked when we first set things up, but now nothing but failure. Suggestions?
Hi. Are you using 2-step verification or 2-factor authentication?
There's a number of people having trouble logging into home sharing, there doesn't seem to be any common set up that causes this, but some have noted that another Apple ID will often work.
Home sharing can use any valid ID, it doesn't need to be the one you use for iTunes or iCloud.
