There usually is an included Uninstaller for Flash Player within the download packet
originally from Adobe when the Flash Player was installed. You can use that, or see
Adobe Help pages to see about getting another:
• Uninstall Flash Player - Adobe Flash Player Help
http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-mac-os.html
(The shorter links inspire confidence of where your browser is taking you; always
get software from an original supplier's own site, not a mirror or other archive copy)
If you only had issue with the Player and sought to see more about resolving issues:
• Installation problems for Mac OS - Adobe Flash Player Help
https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player-mac.h tml
To use the uninstall if you determined the Flash to be obsolete or not latest, then
you could (if you wanted) a latest supported Adobe Flash Player from their site.
Adobe Support > Flash Player
That said, I've not used Flash Player or Shockwave for quite some time; and in older
Mac OS X configurations, have disabled/removed their outdated 'security risk' player.
You often can control Java (not to be confused with Java Script) inside your browser
settings; security etc depending on the browsers you use. I use four different ones.
Better browsers tend to offer support for HTML#5 animation video within the browser.
Others may use select add-ons so QuickTime may play content otherwise unavailable.
Older Mac OS X may not see any patches for security issues, so prevention is best.
In any event...
Good luck & happy computing! 🙂
