When I paste a photo into e mail I can see it. However, the recipient only sees a small square with a question mark in it.

When I cut and paste a photo into e mail I can see it. However, the recipient only sees a small square with a question mark in it. What is the problem?

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities. Sorry to hear that you are having these issues with Mail on your MacBook Air. If your recipients do not appear to be receiving the images attached to your emails, you may want to double-check that you are attaching them as outlined in the following page of the User Guide:
