Can I attach a character style to a keyboard layout?

I typically use three different keyboard layouts in my documents: US, Greek, and Hebrew. Because I use a different font for each language I type, I use a different character style. I have each character style set to a keyboard shortcut, but is there a way to automate this process? For instance, is there a way to switch to my Hebrew character style automatically when I switch my keyboard layout to Hebrew?

Language is a property listed in Pages '09 Character Styles, so yes it is connected.

Even better that you can apply it using a keyboard shortcut, and selectively have certain properties override the Paragraph Style (there is a checklist in the Character Style).

Pages '09's poor Hebrew/Arabic support will however negate these advantages. For other languages it works well.

Do you really find that activating a Character Style with the Language property set to Hebrew or Greek will switch the keyboard layout to either of those? (Sorry, I don't have Pages 4 operational at the moment and cannot test it, but I think all that does is mark the text for spellcheck).
