Why does my email inbox go to older email when opened instead of newest or latest email?

    Go to settings Email Accounts delete account then add back again .

    This is not very helpful. The account I experience this annoying behaviour with is my dotmac/iCloud account which des not appear to be removable. I can switch mail off in the settings, but I cannot figure out a way to delete it as you describe.

    This problem is not new to ios10. I have had it for quite a while now (I am sorry to say I cannot recall when it started) but it is now REALLY annoying.

    Can you advise how to delete an iCloud account from an iPad?
