First thing, this MacBook Pro is a Late 2009 version. I have had OSX in various versions installed and when the computer is shutdown the battery still drains. I don't use the macbook much, so it's frustrating after a week or so (when I had a full battery originally) it's dead.
I uninstalled OSX and put ChromeOS on the MacBook, and surprisingly the battery DOES NOT drain when shut down, even for several weeks.
Is there anyone who has an idea why OSX is doing this to my battery?
