Scan with Preview - multiple Pages in one PDF does not work in Mac OS Sierra

Hello everybody,

I had upgraded my Macbook Pro (Early 2011) to Mac OS Sierra. One famous feature of the former versions of Mac OS is to use Preview for scanning documents to PDF, joined all scanned pages to one document.

After upgrading to Sierra this feature does not work properly. The pages are not combined to one PDF anymore. Does anybody has observed the same problem?

Best regards from Germany

This happened for us as well.

There is a solution...You can use Image Capture and it works just the same.

Go to Applications.

Open Image Capture.

Click on your Scanners name.

Click "show details"...to adjust your settings and be sure to "Scan to" Preview... and click the box to "combine into a single document" in order to scan multiple pages.

Good Luck... Bummer about Preview though.
