Sharing absent from Pages for Mail

I have 3 machines, 2 running ElCap and laptop with Yosemite. I used to be able to create things in Pages and just email out to people...I'd select share by mail and it would ask how to send [pdf, word etc] But now that is missing - it's still possible on one machine I think but not on all - pic is from my laptop... how do i fix this?

If you are using Pages '09 on Yosemite or later, the Share menu : Send via Mail items are no longer functional — the price of older software confronted by operating system changes.

For Pages v5.5 and later, the loss of the Share : Send a copy : Mail sub-menu item is caused by a corrupted launch services database.

Quit Pages, and then open the Terminal (Launchpad : Other : Terminal). From this Apple article, triple-click the scrollable text to select it, copy it, click in the Terminal, and then paste. Press return if the command does not automatically run. There will be no completion message, other than a new Terminal prompt. Quit Terminal.

Open System Preferences : Extensions : Share menu pane, and select Mail if it is not already selected.

Run Pages v5+ again and check if the Share : Send a Copy : Mail sub-menu item has returned.
