Q: iphone transfer

I am transferring content from my iPhone 6 (64G) to a new iPhone 6S+ (32G). I have backed-up the content to iCloud but when I try to download to the new phone it tells me that the content is not compatible with IOS 10.0.1 on the new device. My old phone is on IOS 10.0.2. What do I need to do ?

Update your new phone to iOS 10.0.2. Go to Settings>General>Software Update

Set the new phone up as a new device, then update it to iOS 10.0.2, then erase it and restore the backup.
You can not restore a backup made with a newer version of iOS (10.0.2) to a device running an older version (10.0.1).
