    Hi gpp123,

I understand that you're not able to select the "Message" option after you choose the option to "Share Contact" in the Contacts app. I'm more than happy to help out.

If you haven't already, please restart your iPhone and test for this again to see if you're still unable to choose the option to share via a message. You can find more information on that here:

Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Once you're done, try testing with other contacts to see if you can reproduce the issue. It may also help to try creating a new contact to test with. Once you're done, let us know the result of the testing.

    Cheers!

Thank you, Brenden, but that wasn't it. When I am on a Contact's page, I can click "share this contact" and I am given the option of sharing by text or email. But when I select share by text, the contact's info is not copied to the text message. I restarted the phone twice, both soft and hard restart. No change.

Is there a way to roll back to the precious IOS? Didn't have this issue then.

Thanks for the added information, gpp123. At this point, we think it would be best to try reinstalling iOS 10.0.2 on your device to see if you encounter the same issue. This process will leave your data intact, but we still recommend performing a back up before you get started. Take a look at this website for more information on how to back up:

How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

Once you're done, please follow these instructions to reinstall iOS:

If your device turns on but gets stuck during start up

You might see the Apple logo or a red or blue screen for a long time during startup. Try these steps:

    1. Connect your device to a computer and open iTunes. If you don't have a computer, you can borrow one, or go to an Apple Retail Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider for help.
    2. While your device is connected, force it to restart.

      • On an iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Volume Down buttons at the same time.
      •
      • On an iPhone 6s and earlier, iPad, or iPod touch: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time.
    3. Don't release when you see the Apple logo. Keep holding until you see the recovery mode screen.
    4. When you get the option to restore or update, choose Update. iTunes will try to reinstall iOS without erasing your data.

iTunes will download the software for your device. If it takes more than 15 minutes, your device will exit recovery mode and you'll need to repeat steps 2 and 3.

The title of the above article differs from your issue, but the above steps will still be effective in allowing you to reinstall iOS.

    Take care!
