Great! I am now at least ON the path to fixing this.

sbkramerjr, Steps 1-5 worked and the error message/CS6 crashes were gone, but when I re-enabled, the error was still gone but my software crashes were not.

Any thoughts?

Now...if I knew why the problem happened all of a sudden. It was working fine. I shut down. Had dinner. Problem started upon reboot.

For now, i'm just glad it works again. =)

I had this same issue unable to start Adobe software, and bugged me out to find a solution – what I did was update my MacBook Pro to macOS Sierra which has fixed the issue. Touch wood this issue doesn't happen.

I have another problem, and I don't know whether it is related. It started at the same time. In Word, it won't let me save a document from .docx to .doc form. It's says save it in Word 2007 form, whatever that is. Since my InDesign won't take .docx files, this is also a problem.

Got rid of the ** Really ** annoying "core telephony" startup message -
Reenabling System Integrity Protection did not make it come back.

Adobe programs did still not work...they quit after launch.

FIX That worked for me: Upgrade to Mac OS Sierra. All good now.

I replied too soon.

The annoying coretelephony popup was gone but my Bluestacks app still crashed upon start up. I upgraded to Sierra and all works now. I'd like to know why things happen and how to fix them though rather than just upgrading each time heh.

Stubbornly persisting problem! Where's Apple with a solid instruction?!

For my client an upgrade to Sierra solved the case .. he is happily doing his InDesign and PS production now.

In the end my tackling would be upgrading or reinstalling the OS (not necessary a clean one). Good luck everyone, thnx for your contributions.

This helped me fix problem on MacBook AIR running OS X El Capitan.

Had same issue after upgrade, OSx 10.11.6 on Mid 2015 MBP. Followed sbkramerjr fix and it worked.

Recap of fix

- Boot to safemode

- Open terminal, type: csrutil disable

- Reboot normal

- Reboot safemode again

- Open terminal, type: csrutil enable

- Reboot normal

Done, no more error!
