Q: iMac 27" mid 2011 - Intermittent issue with CPU fan running at full speed and sleep mode.

Hello there!

My iMac 27" has an intermittent issue with CPU fan running at full speed. Sometimes it occurs right when I start it, sometimes only in my session and sometimes only after a while. So doesn't seem to be an 'heating' problem.

Second issue is with the sleep mode. It can occur also at anytime, when starting the iMac, in the session or after a while. But once it starts to go in the sleep mode, when I wake it up, it goes back right away in the sleep mode after a few seconds and will go on forever until I reboot the computer.

What could it be?

Please help me !
