Q: Photoshop 2015 CC terrible performance on iMac 5k

Photoshop 2015 CC have terrible performance on my iMac 5k. Terrible performance caused by turned on rulers. I search all topics find answer how to fix it... and nothing helps. I tried to change all kinds of settings, performance and still nothing. I posted this question on Adobe forum and its seems useless. So any suggestions about this problem?

 

My iMac specs:

iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015)

OS X El Capitan 10.11.6

Processor - 3,2 GHz Intel Core i5

Memory - 24 GB 1867 MHz DDR3 (2x4GB default RAM and 2x8GB Kingston HyperX Impact 16GB (2x8GB) 1866MHz CL11 DDR3L SO-DIMM Kit for Mac)

Graphics - AMD Radeon R9 M390 2048 MB

    get rid of tunnel bear, clean my mac, bit torrent and spotifiy.

    use the developers instructions, do not drag and drop to trash, that does not remove these types of applications unless the developers states so.

     

    CC2015 is noticeable slower than its predecessors on every system I've tested it on which is over a dozen macs from a dual xeon 8/16 core 64GB Pro to iMac i7 4.0GHz. 16GB RAM 27" 2/4GB Nvidia.

    JimmyCMPIT thanks for reply. I run Photoshop on a clean system without other apps and i still have this issue. I use Photoshop on my job PC, thats have worst hardware under windows, but its run PS perfectly and smoothly.

    you are running known $#!+ware on your mac, but it's your prerogative if you want to keep it and bone your OS stability. Past that it's an Adobe product and its not Apples job to fix Adobes problems.
