Q: Use Apple TV as slideshow viewer

Hi. I am wondering if it is possible for me to set up an Apple TV 4th or 3rd generation (preference is 4th generation) as a slideshow viewer at my school. We have a teacher who is in charge of keeping that updated at my school. Right now she burns them as DVDs and then puts it on the tv. She has a iMac in her room. She has to edit her pictures in Photoshop on a Windows computer connected to our network because she also has the students edit the pictures as well. She has a few hard drives to store the photos on before she uploads them to network drive where students edit them on. Is it possible to get the pictures from the hard drive to the iMac and then to the Apple TV using either iCloud Photo Stream or iCloud Photos?

You can use the Slidez app for Apple TV to create the slideshow without introducing the complexity of editing on another iMac. If the pictures sit on a network drive, the students and the teacher can all upload using their favorite browser to a Slidez album that will then be available on the Slidez app. From there, Slidez can play the album as a slideshow.
