Q: New Earphone with Lightning Jack almost killed my ears! Loud static noise out of a sudden!
I'm extremely disappointing and PHYSICALLY HURT by the new earphone with lightning jack!!!!!
Got my new iPhone 7 and I'm a earphone guy when speaking on the phone. So I gave a try to the new earphone that comes with the device, which is now a lightning jack. I made couple of Siri conversations before reaching and dialing a number, the Siri talk was all fine, sounds all clear. Now when making the first dial, it appeared to have no sound, which was strange because looking at the display, the call has already been picked up because the timer started running. I hung up, and dialed again, silence at the beginning and all of a sudden, a LOUD, disturbing static sound bursts out from the earphone and the pain to my ear was unbearable, after I took it off my ears, I tried lowering the volume with the volume key and it has no use. Clearly it wasn't the sound from the phone or the sound volume would've been lowered. I'm not afraid of using the earphone again because I don't want to get a sound attack out of a sudden and my ears are very uncomfortable.
I hope Apple gets to read this and give me an explanation.
