Accidentally deleted my email app!

I've somehow managed to delete the standard email app off my iPhone 6s.

There are some older questions and answers on the forum but going to Setting>General>Reset>reset Home Screen Layout doesn't restore the app.

I've tried to restore the phone from a backup but the moment I connected to iTunes the phone automatically backed up...overwriting the previous backup from a time when my phone had the email.

Any help appreciated - for your information the phone was updated with the latest IOS (I think the version number is 10.02).

iPhone 6s Plus, iOS 10.0.2

How did you delete the old ones? I can’t get mine to work it says it already exists and gives me no options to change it.

Go to the App Store and search for "Apple Mail" and redownload it. With iOS 10 Apple allows deletions of several of the default apps. But any that can be deleted are available in the App Store for reinstallation if needed.

I accidentally did the same but when I go back to the it's making install my email again but my email accounts are all still in the phone. It's saying can't create account bc already exist.

Never mind. I just deleted the accounts and added them back. All good.

I accidentally deleted my apple email app and when I try to restore it the iCloud account I already have will not let me. Now what?
