Q: How to free space from another profile

Hi, when I started using my macbook I create 2 profiles "work" and "home". Now I use only one profile and i don't have enough disk space.

I can't access the other profile because it was a user connected to my work network.

Also, I'm not sure if it was partitioned. I remember for example that I had Outlook for Mac in the other profile and it consumes a lot of storage, but now I have no idea how to find it or uninstall either.

I appreciate any help.

Thanks.

MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.4)

You could just do a time machine back up on a drive, then wipe your Mac and install a fresh copy of macOS or OS X from your recovery partition. Finally, restore from your time machine back up but select only your user.

You can also try to use sudo du -hd 1 /Users/ in terminal to determine how much space each user is taking up.
