IPhone photos wont import to IPhoto

Up until August 2016, I used to be able to plug in my IPhone and my photos would automatically upload. Now they won't and it says something about my iPhone having a passcode. My phone asks me if I want to trust this computer and I say yes, but it still won't upload my photos.

What changes in August 2016?

What version of the OS and of iPhoto are you using?

It is not a bug - it is a security feature and the directions are in my link which has resolved this for many people - it it does not resolve it for you then you need to start a new thread and include details about your problem rather than threadjack some else's thread -- see Writing an effective Apple Support Communities question

Rude?

You made two statements falsely accusing me - I did post a solution (not a spam link to third party software like you did) many times and I did not say "see my post"

for the third time is is wha tI said - both the link to the Apple article of the solution and nothing about see my post
