Q: iPhone 6s iOS 10 Incoming wifi Calls Drop

It happens every time I receive a call. It about 20sec into the conversation and the line goes dead. The other caller calls back and it's fine, but that's because the call is on cellular and not wifi. It's been going on since I got the 6s, about 4 months ago.  Any ideas?

Thanks

    Hi there, jjboulder!

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities for this issue. I see you're trying to use the new Wi-Fi Calling feature on your iPhone 6s after upgrading to iOS 10. I see that the connection drops after a bit but I'll be glad to help with this.

Make a call with Wi-Fi Calling

If you can't turn on or use Wi-Fi Calling, make sure that your carrier offers Wi-Fi Calling and that your devices have the latest software. Then, follow these steps if you can't turn on Wi-Fi Calling or make a Wi-Fi call. Wait two minutes before you go from one step to the next.

    1. Go to Settings > Phone > Wi-Fi Calling and make sure that Wi-Fi Calling is on.
    2. Restart your iPhone.
    3. Connect to a different Wi-Fi network. Not all Wi-Fi networks work with Wi-Fi Calling.
    4. Turn Wi-Fi Calling off and then on again.
    5. Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset Network Settings.

FaceTime isn't available in all countries or regions.

    Cheers!

Thank you very much for your help, here are my answers

    1. Go to Settings > Phone > Wi-Fi Calling and make sure that Wi-Fi Calling is on.
Yes, WiFi is on. I have the WiFi in the status bar across the top.
    2. Restart your iPhone.
I've restarted it numerous times and even reset it on one occasion.
    3. Connect to a different Wi-Fi network. Not all Wi-Fi networks work with Wi-Fi Calling.
My wife's phone's WiFi calling works on our router, so that isn't an issue.
    4. Turn Wi-Fi Calling off and then on again.
      Yes, many times.
    5. Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset Network Settings.
I haven't tried this so I'll give it a try (unless it happens when you do a reset). I'll let you know the results.
