Problems with iOS 10.0.2

I'm getting the feeling I'm not the only one frustrated with the new iOS 10.0.2 update.

Now primarily when typing text messages and using the notes app - phone locks up. The only way to unlock it is to shut down the apps or power off the phone, to which you lose whatever has been typed.

Chewing through the battery at a million rate of knots since the upgrade too.

Come on Apple - WT??? - When's the next fix due?

It's frustrating when your phone doesn't work the way you want it to. However, we're not Apple here. Just users like you. Addressing Apple here is pointless and just makes you look silly.

Neither I, nor anyone I know has had issues with iOS 10.0.2. So for me, personally, I don't need a fix.

As this is a user to user help forum, we're here to help you get your problem solved. Before we can help you, please tell us what troubleshooting steps you've already taken (such as the usual ones recommended by Apple--restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new). We'll hopefully get you up and running in no time!

Best,

GDG

And the answer is no. But you would have read that when you read the TOS, and when you read the post above yours. Now, for assistance, you need to follow gdgmacguy's post and respond with that information. I've got 6 devices running iOS 10.0.2 and have no issues with any of them. And believe me, if you think that you are not going to have issues with an Android device, you are sadly mistaken there. And, they do not update their software hardly at all. As a matter of fact, many of their devices are sold new with expired software on them and you cannot update them. Don't think you want to go there.

If you wish Apple to hear your complaints, you need to go to their feedback site here, http://www.apple.com/feedback and click on the appropriate subject area. The issues need to be rectified by the user, since these are user issues, not an iOS issue.
