Q: My iphone 6s contacts freezes after upgrade to 10.0.2 (14A456)

I understand from your post that your contacts will become unresponsive after the iOS 10.0.2 update. I depend on being able to use my Contacts app without issue. I'll be happy to help.
Let's first have you close out of the Phone and Contacts app and then restart your iPhone and test out and see if you are able to access your contacts without issue.

Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If you are still experiencing issues, please remove the Contacts app and then reinstall it from the App Store and give it another go.
