Oct 21, 2016 3:27 PM in response to Loner Tby MamatoTX,Having same problem on my wife's computer. ResetSMC is the only way to get the computer to start up again. Screen just goes black when watching video on battery power in Mac Partition when battery is fully charged (this has happened 2x). On Windows partition, when closing the lid to sleep and then returning, on opening, the screen was black and could not reboot until SMC reset. Verified that Mac OS X is set as startup disk on both sides. Checked system sleep, wake and battery energy prefs on both sides. Can not find anything wrong. In our case. Windows 10 was installed on computer in El Capitan (10.11.6) and then upgrade to 10.12. I am unsure if this started happening before or after the upgrade. Any ideas?
