Apple TV

Q: We have Dish as a TV provider in the U.S.. We have an Apple TV 3rd generation we use in Mexico. Even though I sign in my dish account I cannot get Apps to work in Mexico. Apps like CNN GO.

In the U.S. I have Dish as a TV provider. I can sign into Dish with my version 4 Apple TV and watch Apps like CBS, CNN Go, etc.. When I try to do the same in Mexico with my version 3 Apple TV those same apps do not work. In Mexico I tried resetting everything and went through other steps suggested in this forum. Nothing worked.

Hi. I believe they can tell where you are by your IP address. Their servers can block content if they are not licensed to provide it at your location. You could try contacting Dish.
