I have a 6S plus. It's been prompting me to upgrade to iOS 10, but I wanted to wait because my other iPhone user friends had reported bugs. I understand that 10.0.2 is now out, but I'm not being prompted to upgrade to that yet. My carrier is Cricket. Is that upgrade not available for the 6s plus...is that why I don't have access to it on my phone?

Have you tried to find the upgrade manually? Go to Settings - General - Upgrade iOS.

I have the option to upgrade to iOS 10 only. That's the prompt I keep getting, and no way to access any further upgrades.
Usually when you update you get the latest version of iOS for your device, and there is no way to get an earlier version even if you want it.
Hmmmm....OK, thanks for this Gerald. I'm just a bit leery though in case that DOESN'T happen. I don't WANT iOS 10. 😟
I have been purposely waiting for a version newer than 10 both because of reported bugs with it, but also I just generally make it a rule to wait for later versions when it's a major upgrade, which I understand iOS 10 is.
Why don't I have the latest iOS Upgrade?
