how come when I try and get album art for LED ZEPPELIN, I get come crappy wanna-be cover band's art?!? is this happening to anyone else?

Depends on how you are trying to get the cover art. Using iTunes, the cover art is provided by the labels, at least I think so. You can get your own album art from any number websites online. allmusic.com is what I use. I have been able to get >90% of covers with that.

Yes It is... I just got the art form here,

itunes doesn't sell Led Zeppelin albums for some reason... I think that is why they don't have the album art available...

Correct. The iTunes Store only has album art for albums they carry. And LZ so far has refused to license their music to any download music store.
