Q: Pages keeps crashing after Sierra

- Have you run Disk Utility (Launchpad : Other : Disk Utility), selected your boot drive, and run First Aid on it?
- Have you tried running Pages v6 solo without other user applications running?
- Have you [re]moved or added any System fonts using a font manager?
- Have you installed the 2013 Apple EndNote v2.0 plug-in?
- Do you have any anti-virus software running?
- Have you used any so-called “Mac cleaner” applications?
- Run the free Malwarebytes to ensure that you have no uninvited guests on board.
- Note: I use this product, but receive no benefits from its recommendation.
As for Pages '09 v4.3, it can read/write documents to iCloud Drive, and continues to work on macOS Sierra. Some of the features (e.g. Share : Send via Mail) are no longer functional, but it has scores of reasons to use it over Pages v6. Documents created with any release of Pages v5 or v6, must be exported to Pages '09 format, as otherwise, there is no direct backwards document compatibility.
The retail (not trial) iWork '09 DVD is available via Amazon or Ebay retailers. You will want to apply the Apple iWork 9.3 updater after the DVD install. That upgrades Pages '09 v4.0.1 to v4.3, the last version.

Oct 16, 2016 8:25 AMby BobAF6C,Under El Capitan, Pages 4.3 (Pages 09) lost the ability to wrap text. Does anyone know if this has been fixed under Sierra?
I have over 100 large technical documents created in Pages 4 that require alternating margins, and these documents get updated frequently as new things are discovered. Many hundreds of hours of work are involved. I understand hardware going obsolete. but data shouldn't.
