Networking Mac and PC ?

Hello,

I am on a heterogeneous home network environment. ( Macs, Windows PC's, Linux )

I can see my Windows computers and network drives and printers and linux computers fine.

I can not see any of my Macs on the network.

Is networking setup by default on a Mac or do I need to setup networking on a Mac in order to browse

the Mac computers and files ?

I have internet working on my Mac and I can see all my network Mybook drives and printers and Windows computers.

I just can't see any of my Macs on the network?

The Macs can't see each other on the network.
