My magic mouse has stopped working. Is there a battery that I need to replace?
My magic mouse quit working. Do I have to replace a battery? If so, how?

If it is a Magic Mouse 2 then you recharge it using a standard Lightning to USB cable. Port is on the bottom of the mouse. If it's a Magic Mouse then you need to replace the batteries. Cover is on the bottom of the mouse.
Thanks, I have it connected to the computer. Hopefully this will work because in the settings it says it's not connected.
What mouse do you have? The original or the MM2? To what settings are you referring? If you have an MM2, then you check it in BlueTooth's menubar item. Enable it in BT preferences.
It is MM2 and I have it plugged into my computer right now to charge. Hopefully this will solve my problem. Thanks
Yep. I also use an MM2. Once fully charged you will find it has a pretty long life before needing a recharge. I liked it so much I bought two more for my other computers.
If your magic mouse i9s the number 1 version, there is a compartment on the under side. Take a look at my User tip to see how to open it and which battery type to use.
